Description
A super comfortable 1970’s lounge chair with a tubular chrome frame and a sling-style seat. There is no maker’s mark but we feel confident that it is a Pixi model Lounge chair, designed by Gillis Lundgren for Ikea. The cushion has been newly upholstered in a flame-retardant boucle fabric with accent buttons. For additional style and versatility, we have used two button colours. One side has large Cobalt Blue buttons and the other has a smaller, rust colour.
The chrome frame shows some signs of age-related wear, particularly on the underside of the base, this can be seen in the photographs.
The condition is good with new upholstery on the cushion, the odd age spot on the canvas sling, and some age-related damage to the chrome of the frame, as shown in the images.
