Description
An elegant, slimline, cocktail cabinet by British mid-century furniture maker Turnidge of London. This is a beautifully crafted piece with wonderful, circular inset cabinet door handles and a mirrored back to the open glass shelving. A double-doored base cabinet provides useful additional storage to compliment the drop-down bar area which, as one would expect for the period, is also mirror-backed. This is a fine example of mid-century dining furniture that references the influence of Danish designers through its clean lines and details such as the sled legs and turned handles.
Why buy me…. I am super stylish with neat proportions that will work well in smaller spaces. My mirrored display area is great for bouncing light and providing an opportunity for a vanity check whilst mixing a cocktail.
This is in good condition with just the odd scratch and bump as one should expect for a pre loved piece with history. The formica surface to the drop down bar has a chip out of it near the hinge (see images). Please check the photos for a detailed representation of the condition.
