Description
A neat and compact, modular workstation comprising of desk, storage cupboard, and bookshelves. The perfect piece of furniture for small spaces, it packs in plenty of functionality for its small footprint. The deep desk top handily folds up (bureau style) when not in use, accentuating the minimalistic, aesthetically pleasing lines of the Form 5 range. Designed by R. Bennett and launched in 1967 the Danish-inspired, Form 5 range from G Plan has pared-back clean lines, a modern, modular aesthetic, and a focus on good design and practicality.
It has experienced a few knocks and bumps over time, as you might expect for a piece with its history but it is structurally sound. There has been some sun fading to the teak but we have managed to polish most of this out and it is not very noticeable. There is also a historical repair to the bottom right-hand corner of the desk front (see image) and a couple of scratches to the veneer have been filled. It remains an aesthetically pleasing piece with some minor surface marks that will make the most of any smaller space and provide a very stylish solution for working from home.
This is in good sturdy vintage condition.
