This modular shelving and furniture system comprises of three shelves a teak cabinet with wooden sliding doors and height adjustable glass shelf. The cabinet and shelves sit on brass support rails and are supported by teak ladder sides. This is in good vintage condition and may show some small signs of wear and tear.
Why Buy Me? Despite not being in first class condition, once put together and dressed I still look pretty good and offer an opportunity to own an iconic piece of mid century design at a more affordable price.
The Ladderax system was designed by Robert Heal for Staples & Co it consists of upright ‘ladders’ that support shelves and cabinets, these are height and position adjustable as they sit on steel rods that hook onto the rungs of the ladders. One of the great benefits of Ladderax over its Scandinavian counterparts is that it doesn’t need to be attached to the wall. The whole set up breaks down easily when it needs to be moved and is so simple to rebuild. You can also be clever and source extra cabinets, rods, shelves and/or ladders to allow you add to and alter your configuration.
