There are some signs of previous ownership that add a touch of history to the piece, including the name ‘Tom’ scored into the wood (approximately 1.5cm in size) and a few bumps and bruises to the legs etc. as one might expect for a well-loved piece of its age. There has also been a repair to the veneer on the bottom drawer. This does not affect the function and has been carried out with care.
