A very smart, elegantly proportioned mid-century, Scandinavian-style secretary desk/writing bureau in richly toned Teak. This is a beautifully crafted piece with inset handles to all 5 drawers, gently tapered legs and a retractable desktop. Very aesthetically pleasing with a well-thought-out design, this would look fabulous in both contemporary or more traditional interiors and whilst it has no maker’s mark it has a distinctly Danish design feel to it.
It is in great condition for its age, there are a couple of cosmetic repairs to the veneer on the back, and side edges, perhaps where a chip or a scratch has been filled but the face on these is unnoticeable.
