Description
A stylish mid-century desk in a wonderful, mellow, light oak veneer on wood. The knee hole space is flanked by two drawers to the left and a cupboard with an adjustable shelf to the right. Attractive, turned knobs on the drawer fronts and cupboard door along with the elegantly tapered legs are typical of the late 1950’s/1960’s. No maker’s mark but design and style is similar to early Meredew.

In good structural and aesthetic condition. There is a small amount of chipping to the veneer on the edge of the desk top and one drawer but this has been filled and is only noticeable in some lighting conditions/angles. the back of the piece has lost some veneer on the bottom edge but as long as this is positioned against a wall it will not be visible.
