A fabulously versatile mid century oak tallboy cupboard . Part of the G Plan E Gomme Brandon range so its a top quality piece with several, well considered, design features. When open the top drawer reveals a hidden, flip up mirror. The aesthetically pleasing central position of the main cupboard door handle is made possible through the use of a touch door opening mechanism; very progressive for the period. To open you simply push on the top right hand corner of the door and it unlatches. Notably, perhaps, there is a small nick on the top of the door which I suspect is where someone has tried to prise the door open! This is not particularly unsightly and doesn’t affect the use or overall aesthetics.
Why Buy Me? Good looking, versatile and practical. Naturally I will look fabulous in a bedroom but I would also work exceptionally well in a hallway, cloakroom or utility room. I offer plenty of storage and that secret mirror is just perfect for a last minute vanity check before you head out of the door!
The condition of this piece is very good with very little wear and tear. As mentioned, there is a small part of the main door missing (please check the images) and of course, as this is a preloved item, there may be the odd bump or scratch commensurate with age.
