A high quality, neatly proportioned, oval, extendable dining table. Although there is no maker’s mark it fits with Jentique catalogue records and has the Danish design style that influenced their furniture of this period.
The Table is very well designed, and beautifully crafted and benefits from high-quality brass mechanisms and locators for the extension leaf.
Proportionally, this dining suite would be particularly well suited to a smaller dining area as the table top is slightly narrower and therefore neater in dimensions than many others of this era. It extends to almost 2 meters to offer extra seating space when required. The condition of the table is excellent for its age.
This table is in pleasingly good condition. The top has been cleaned and refinished, there is a small scratch (3-4 cm) but other than that it is both structurally and aesthetically very good. Please study the images to gain a detailed view of the condition and be aware that this is something that has been pre-loved so the odd scratch or bruise is all part of its rich history!
