A high quality, well proportioned, round, extending to oval, Teak Dining Table.
The Table is very well designed, and beautifully crafted, and benefits from high-quality brass mechanisms and locators for the extension leaf. With a diameter of 122cm, it extends to an oval 161 x 122 cm. The condition of the table top is excellent for its age, there is a slight color variation between the leaf and main table but nothing too dramatic.
There is no maker’s mark but we feel confident that this can be attributed to British furniture maker Jentique, who was greatly influenced by the Danish design style of the period.
This table is in pleasingly good condition. The top has been cleaned and refinished, there is a slight variation in tone between the main table and the extension leaf but nothing too dramatic. Beneath the tabletop, at the bottom of the base, a small strip of veneer has lifted off but other than that it is both structurally and aesthetically very good. Please study the images to gain a detailed view of the condition and be aware that this is something that has been pre-loved so the odd scratch or bruise is all part of its rich history!
