Description
This wonderful corner unit was made by G Plan in the middle of the last Century. It is a modular design, comprising of two parts. This enables the unit to be easily moved and also offers the option to use separated as low shelves and a cabinet. The bottom section is a bow-fronted cabinet with two doors opening from the center outwards. This area is open and could be used for a range of storage functions.
Above this sits a shelving unit with the same bow-fronted design. The shelving is recessed which is cleverly done so that the unit does not look too bulky, or dominate the room. It comprises of three shelves, the upper and lower shelves can be arranged by moving the pegs so as to accommodate a range of display items.
This is an aesthetically pleasing interior piece that is elegant, stylish, and functional. A fabulous way to bring some mid-century style to the corner of a room, to display plants and sculptural pieces whilst also gaining useful storage.
Can be added to other modular G Plan Fresco units from the same range.
In superb vintage condition with the possibility of the odd scratch or bruise as should be expected for a piece of its age and history. We have simply cleaned and polished this with Danish oil to maintain its original beauty.
