Description
A stylish pair of grey leather and beech wood conference-style armchairs. Made by Soro Stolefabrik, Denmark, probably in the 1980’s. They are striking in the simplicity of their shape and the curvaceous sweep of the bentwood armrests. The golden amber colour of the wood perfectly compliments the grey/blue tone of the leather.
The seats show some slight signs of aesthetic, wear to the leather, no cracking or splits, just scratch marks (as if a fingernail has scratched the surface, without indenting it, just making lighter lines) see photographs. Structurally the chairs are sturdy and sound.
These would make a great addition to a contemporary or vintage-inspired office and would also work well as lounge chairs.
Condition is good, they are good quality, structurally sound and well made. There are a few scrapes and bruises as you would expect from any vintage piece with history.
