Description
A lovely tile-topped dining table, made by Gangso Mobler in Denmark, circa 1970’s. The table has attractive, light teak wood legs and edging, surrounding a tiled center. These ceramic plates are characteristic of this model and were designed to allow you to place hot serving dishes directly onto the table.
The soft grey/green and beige shades of the ceramic tiled centre, blends beautifully with the light teak wood to lend the table a sense of tonal sophistication. The geometric and stylish asymmetrical pattern accentuates the clean, linear form of the table. This table is fairly compact in size and so would work particularly well in an open-plan living space or a kitchen diner.
The table is preserved in its original pre-loved condition, with visible traces of use on the wooden edging. Please study the images for an honest representation of the condition. We love these marks of time and use, believing that they are representative of joyful meals and conversations, and ultimately, enhance the style of the table. However, if you would prefer to have the wood stripped and refurbished please message us and we will be happy to discuss.
