Description
Designed and manufactured in the mid-twentieth century by Nathan Furniture this simple, yet wonderfully retro, pair of cabinets make a fabulous, modular sideboard when stood side by side. The double-door unit offers additional storage with 4 equal-sized drawers above and the single-door unit has an open shelf with a drawer above. It is neatly proportioned (measuring just 154cm) and will provide a useful and stylish storage solution for a range of interior styles, featuring the distinctive Nathan, square panel design, to the door and simple, turned drawer knobs. As with all Nathan furniture, the build quality is very good. The teak veneer and solid teak door frame are of a lovely mellow medium-tone teak.
This piece is in very good vintage condition having had just one careful owner. The top, front, and sides of both units are in great condition. The larger of the two units has a couple of nibbles to the veneer on the base of one side but this is not very noticeable and not at all if hidden by the smaller unit. We have cleaned and polished this ready for its new home. As with all pre-loved furniture imperfections in the way of the odd scratch or bruise are always possible, please see the images for a good representation of the condition.
